A picosecond is one trillionth of a second.
PicoWay delivers extremely short pulses of laser energy with high peak power. Depending on the treatment being performed, this energy can target tattoo ink or unwanted pigment or be delivered into the skin to support remodeling and rejuvenation.
Because the pulses are so short, PicoWay is designed to create a strong photoacoustic effect while limiting unnecessary heat exposure to surrounding tissue.
